Moore Affordable Housing, Inc.  (MAHI) offers programs and services to meet the needs of families and individuals  in the community who are facing homelessness and are in need of food and other essential necessities.  The population we serve includes individuals and families transitioning from situations of dependence to independence.  MAHI has developed effective programs to address the specific needs of families and individuals who are unemployed, in recovery,  victims of domestic violence and individuals affected by the adverse housing market, etc.

In addition to providing transitional housing services MAHI is a community service organization.  Our program works with people who are weak in computer skills, reading and other academic areas.  Our teachers and volunteer's roles are to help our clients make responsible decisions which will be appropriate and beneficial to their future goals.  We provide referrals to other agencies when it would be in the best interest of the client and their success.  We encourage leadership at MAHI. We seek to provide positive adult role-models and socialization activities.  Our program is designed to help build the clients self-image and create a positive attitude toward society as a whole.

The MAHI Outreach Program supplies the needs of at-risk/high-risk homeless individuals; that otherwise, would not be able to access the necessary services due to their inability to locate relevant efficient resources to meet their emergency needs. The services that we provide aim to exponentially increasing the self-esteem and self worth amongst individuals that utilize our services.  Services offered at MAHI focus on continuous success, contingently based on the participants that utilize our services, decision and ability to overcome adversities.
